One of the common questions I get from members is how to best use LinkedIn to advantageously differentiate oneself from the hundreds (thousands) of others that may be vying for the same job.

I provide here a short video outlining eight (8) key elements to consider when creating or updating a LinkedIn profile to maximize the effectiveness and help position you for your next career opportunity. Many make the mistake of thinking that LinkedIn profiles are about them - in fact, the reader of the LinkedIn profile is more interested in what or how you can assist them to achieve THEIR objective(s). Including examples or references to the impact you have on organizations (not simply job titles) is an important distinction that will separate you from others.is the month we celebrate the holiday of Halloween.  In good fun, we purposely scare ourselves with ghosts, skeletons, frightening sounds of doors creaking, shrieking, or other noises that send shivers of fear down our spines.
